Introduction to Intercultural Awareness
This course is for all staff but is particularly useful for those who work with international students. The aim is to explore a framework that helps us to better understand dimensions of culture and their impact on how we see the world, how we learn and how we communicate with each other.
Outcomes :
By the end of the workshop, delegates should be able to:
understand the dimensions of Culture and Identity
understand better how culture and educational background affect staff and students’ understanding of UK culture and UK Higher Education
Who is it for?
All staff but particularly those who teach and support international students.
