Developing Intercultural Competency
This course is for those staff who attended session 1 (Introduction to Intercultural Competency). It uses the frameworks presented in the first session to explore critical incidents, work through case studies and debate best practice.
Outcomes :
By the end of the session, delegates should be able to:
understand the relevance of the dimensions to their practice
analyse critical Incidents from different perspectives
consider more effective ways of communicating with people from different cultural backgrounds
