Developing Intercultural Competency

This course is for those staff who attended session 1 (Introduction to Intercultural Competency). It uses the frameworks presented in the first session to explore critical incidents, work through case studies and debate best practice.

Outcomes :

By the end of the session, delegates should be able to:
  • understand the relevance of the dimensions to their practice
  • analyse critical Incidents from different perspectives
  • consider more effective ways of communicating with people from different cultural backgrounds

Those staff who have attended session 1 Introduction to Intercultural Competency.
