The course introduces delegates to the hazards of manual handling, the risks involved, the controls available and what to expect from a manual handling assessment.Successful completion will prepare participants to look carefully at their own work activities and contribute to the development of safer methods and tasks, in co-operation with their managers and supervisors.
This course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environment Health (CIEH). Delegates will be able to sit a short end of course assessment, successful completion of which will mean delegates will be awarded with the CIEH Principles of Manual Handling certificate.
